The Center for Governmental Studies (CGS) is a non-profit, non-partisan organization founded in 1983. CGS conducts research and performs policy analysis in a number of key areas of governance including campaign finance laws, campaign ethics and disclosure laws, redistricting, term limits, and ballot initiatives.
