The Senate Elections and Constitutional Amendments Committee has put SB 1096, the recommended changes from the Citizens Redistricting Commission, on the consent calendar for tomorrow’s hearing. Irvine made grants related to state redistricting totalling: $480,000 to support public education and outreach during the commissioner application phase $1,405,000 to support public education and outreach during the commission deliberation phase $1,275,000 to support tools and technical assistance for the public $388,325 to support research and assessment of the process
